Class Update: Thursday, March 26, 2020

Hello, friends.  I hope you are all well.  I miss you very much!
We will be using Google Classroom.
Google Classroom allows me to create and collect assignments paperlessly.  Students can keep track of what is due on the Assignments page and begin working with a click.  Students should login with your Stonewall Middle School Google Apps account.  To access Google Classroom, visit:

http://classroom.google.com.

Our Google Classroom code to join is: hfr7w7o.

If parents would like access to Google Classroom, please email me your current email address so that I can send you an invitation.
Google Classroom works on the PS4 and Xbox One browsers if getting to a computer is challenging!

During this COVID-19 closure, I want you to read every day!  That's right, EVERY day!  It can be anything!  I hope that you were able to take a few books home with you the last day we were at school.  If you didn't, that's ok, because I’ve posted several links on USEFUL LINKS. The ones listed below are just a few of what you'll find there:

1. the website to our PWC Public Library where you can read E-books

2. Epic! where you can access all types of books and articles; classroom code is xkr6791

3. a website from Scholastic that has free articles that cover just about any topic

4. StorylineOnline is a website where actors read books aloud

I know many of you have your own reading apps and are reading online—CONTINUE TO DO THAT!  There are many other things you can do to make sure you're reading every day, too.  You can read to your family members.  You can read directions on how to play a game.  You can take turns reading the same book out loud with a friend, or you can Facetime a friend and read the same book together.  You could read magazines or articles online. There are so many ways you can read EACH DAY!

Keep reading everything you can, whenever you can.  I have faith in each of you and I know that you'll continue to make progress in your reading during this time.

I love each of you very much!  Keep being your BEAUTIFUL, AWESOME, AMAZING selves!

Ms. Roller
